Care, courage and a second chance
Found badly injured in Conondale National Park, Sunday-Somerset needed urgent rescue and intensive veterinary care.
Sunday-Somerset was found in a ditch with wounds affected by maggots and spent 20–22 March in intensive care.
The stitches came out on 7 April. By mid-June, Sunday-Somerset weighed more than 2.5 kilograms and was ready for the next challenge.
