Sunshine Coast Koala Rescue brings together experienced volunteers, specialist carers and a community that refuses to look away when a koala needs help.

Our story

Rescue begins with one person caring enough to call.

We respond to sick, injured and displaced koalas, organise safe transport, and support specialist rehabilitation for vulnerable joeys. Our work is practical, local and powered by volunteers.
