Occy’s road included intensive care, a transfusion and months of treatment—but this brave boy kept moving forward.
Occy spent five days in intensive care and received a transfusion while being treated for candida. He grew from 2.0 kilograms in late February to 2.5 kilograms by late March.
After first entering Koala Kindy in April, Occy returned to care in May after being bullied and losing weight. With treatment and close support, he rebuilt his strength.
